Indiana’s leading returning tackler has been suspended after he was arrested on felony drug charges. The Indianapolis Star reported with dealing cocaine and with dealing heroin with a firearm. Both are Level 2 felonies, and in Indiana, those convicted of Level 2 felonies can spend up to 30 years in jail. Allen was an honorable mention All-Big Ten selection Dwight Gooden Jersey last season, when he led the Hoosiers with 74 tackles. He had two interceptions and three games with double-digit tackles. He played extensively as a true freshman in 2013 before suffering a torn ACL midway through the season. Allen was to have been the only returning starter in IU’s secondary.
