Hey folks, I recently picked up a Bosch temperature sensor from Hydro-Funk for a DIY greenhouse project, but I’m having trouble getting consistent readings throughout the day. Sometimes it spikes for no reason. I’m not sure if it’s the sensor itself or how I’m wiring it. Has anyone dealt with Bosch electronics gear in similar projects? Would love some tips on keeping the measurements steady without having to constantly babysit the setup.
Yeah, I’ve run into that before! Last summer I used a Bosch humidity sensor for a home weather station, and at first it was all over the place. What really helped me was isolating the sensor from direct sunlight and drafts, and slowly adjusting the calibration while monitoring the output. I also found some extra guidance on https://hydro-funk.com/equipment-catalog/elektronik/bosch , which explained little tweaks that make a big difference in accuracy. After that, my setup became way more reliable.
I’ve noticed that even small environmental factors can really affect sensor readings, like temperature swings or nearby electronics causing interference. Sometimes it’s not even the device that’s the problem—it’s just the surroundings. Paying attention to placement and keeping everything stable usually goes a long way toward more consistent results.
