Create a Query only Form

Create a Form Function 1.    Responsibility = System Administrator 2.    Navigate to the Form Functions window –        (N) Application > Function 3.    (T) Description –        Function = XXFNDPOMPV –        User Function Name = XXView System Profiles –        Description = View System Profile Values
4.    (T) Properties –        Type = Form 5.    (T) Form –        Form = Update System Profile Values –        Application = Application Object Library –        Parameters = QUERY_ONLY=YES 6.    Save Attach the Form Function to the Menu 7.    Navigate to the Menus window –        (N) Application > Menu 8.    Query the form: User Menu Name = Navigator Menu – System Administrator GUI (Hint: This is the User Menu Name) 9.    Add a record to the menu according to the following table:
Seq Prompt Submenu Function Description
15 Profiles – View Only XXView System Profiles Profiles – View Only
10.  Save 11.  Exit Oracle Applications and the Personal Home Page 12.  Sign in again Show the Query Only Form 13.  Responsibility = System Administrator 14.  Navigate to the System Profiles window –        (N) Profiles – View Only 15.  (B) Find Note that the profile options may not be modified.  This is the same form as the form other System Profiles form except this one is activated as a query only form.
