Asthalin Inhaler is a short-acting bronchodilator used to treat and control breathing diseases such asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. It contains salbutamol (also known as albuterol), which relaxes the muscles in the airways, allowing them to open up and making breathing easier. Asthalin is sometimes known as a “rescue inhaler” since it quickly relieves acute symptoms such as wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, and shortness of breath. The effects of the inhaler often start within a few minutes and might last up to 4 to 6 hours. It is usually used on an as-needed basis, particularly before activity or during asthma attacks. While it provides rapid relief, it is not meant for long-term asthma management.
