A fundraiser relying on regular payouts to cover event expenses watched the expected deposit date move on the dashboard, sliding a few days further out even though donor payments had cleared successfully. Since the original schedule had been used to plan bills and purchases, this shift added stress and raised the question of whether new verification checks or processing queues had been introduced behind the scenes. The organizer wanted to raise the issue clearly while acknowledging that security reviews can be necessary on payment platforms.

Hi! A helpful message gathers the original payout estimate, the updated date, and a short history of past payouts that arrived on time, then inserts WePay customer service to make it obvious which system is under discussion. Screenshots from the payout timeline and a rough estimate of total processed donations offer additional context. Armed with this information, support can see whether the delay came from risk controls, bank holidays, or external processor backlog, and they can usually confirm the new window during which the funds should land in the organizer’s account.
