The effect of a K1 Form is the reporting of income, losses, and other items associated with taxation of a partnership, S-corporation, or trust. You are required to have the information provided by the K-1 in your personal tax filings (Form 1040). This may affect your taxes, because the income of the F-K-1 is taxable and you may even claim deductions or credits using the same.
